It is that time once again, when a magical place of beauty and giving is upon us.... Fantasy Faire.

.HollyWeird is honored to have been a part of this wonderful event for the past 3 years, as it truly is the greatest event in SL.  Having lost family and friends to cancer, this Relay For Life event is near and dear to my heart, and I am always willing to give time and effort for this wonderful cause as so many others come together to do the same.

Ϯ Fantasy Fair 2015 ~ RFL Ϯ

If you havent been to a SL Fantasy Fair yet, then you're definitely missing out. Not only will you find magically decorated sims in different themes created by some of SL's top designers, and some of the most amazing fantasy styles on the grid to shop, but most importantly, many of the items sold at this event will donate 100% of the proceeds from it, to Relay For Life (RFL). Relay For Life is very dear to me, as I have lost an uncle, and grandmother to cancer, and almost lost my cousin to it. Also, this past year, my 11 year old son's best friend (9yrs old) was diagnosed with brain cancer and has been fighting it with surgeries and chemo. We all have either been affected by cancer or know someone who has, and its charities like RFL that make a difference in the fight against it.

The sim .HollyWeird. is on is, Spires of Andolys (Jaimy Hancroft/Eowyn Swords) – Crooked little fantasy styled houses inspired by the fairytales of your childhood. Centered around a magnificent castle that would be the envy of Sleeping Beauty. Careful though, the castle guards a secret dungeon hidden deep within its bowels where the darkest villains are forever forgotten

For this event, I decided to make a fairytale styled ball gown, and then also went with a darker version to reflect the sim theme. 100% of sales from both gowns will go towards RFL. I also created matching shoes and headpieces to go with the gown (each sold separately).

RFL ~ Fantasy Faire 2014

Relay For Life is a charity that is very dear and close to my heart....  After watching his daughter (my cousin) battle and win her fight with cancer, my uncle became very sick as well, but sadly, he lost his life to this horrible disease... The item I made is in honor of my Uncle Ray ♥
